Mark McIntyre attends WNU Summer Institute

Mark McIntyre was selected as an inaugural Fellow of the World Nuclear University (WNU) Summer Institute. This prestigious institute was held in the summer of 2005 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The goal of the WNU is to develop leadership amongst those in the early stages of their careers in the area of nuclear science and technology. The Fellows (77 in total from 34 countries) were challenged to develop ways that nuclear science can help society advance in this, the so-called nuclear century. Among the 30+ WNU lecturers: Zack Pate -- first president of the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations, Geoffrey Ballard -- grandfather of the commercial fuel cell, and Hans Blix -- Director General Emeritus of the International Atomic Energy Agency and WNU Chancellor.

ISO 9001:2000 Certification

On June 3, 2004 Atlantic Nuclear received certification of its Quality Management system as complying with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 as registered by BSI Management Systems. Link.
